After having a quite quiet day yesterday we needed some more action today (and
like Mick Jagger said, I can get no satisfaction :-), so we decided to visit
the Universal Studios. Like Six Flags Magic Mountain, the Universal Studios also have thrill rides and live stunt shows. But unlike any other theme park, the Universal Studios are also productive film studios where movies and TV shows are recorded every day. The attractions are based on movies like E.T., Back to the Future, Jurassic Park (we did it twice, because we could get wet), Terminator 2 (don't miss it, it's a really good 3D show), Waterworld, Wild Wild Wild West Stunt Show (befor and after the show) and many others. After visiting the Universal Studios in Universal City we drove to the Griffith Park from where you have a terrific view over L.A., especially at night. |
